Ingredients
  1. 2 cups white sugar
  2. 2 cups all-purpose flour
  3. 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  4. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  5. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  6. 1 teaspoon salt
  7. 2 eggs
  8. 1 cup milk
  9. 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  10. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  11. 1 cup boiling water
Instructions
  1. Boil 1 cup of water in a pan
  2. Spray the insides of the crockpot with a cooking spray
  3. In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients
  4. On a separate bowl, mix all the wet ingredients. Don't forget the boiling water.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix well
  6. Pour the batter on the crockpot
  7. Set crockpot to 2 hours and 30 minutes
  8. Once the timer goes off, turn off slow cooker and let it rest for 30 minutes
  9. As tempting as it may be to grab a slice, resist yourself for, at most, 30 minutes. I made the mistake of cutting it early on that led to some of the brownies crumbling
  10. After 30 minutes of cooling down, run through the edges with a knife
  11. Cut brownies into squares
  12. Top each square with a scoop of vanilla ice cream
Notes
  1. Be creative with the garnish! You can add dried fruit (in my case, dried cranberries), or nuts.
